Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg
Qualifications include:
Minimum of three years RN experience.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin required.
BLS Certification required and ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
Schedule:
Evenings/nights – every 4th weekend 12 hour shifts.
Duties include:
The Medical Surgical RN, in collaboration with the attending physician and the health care team, supports and cares for patients in all areas of the critical access hospital.
Assesses, admits, transfers or discharges patients and completes all necessary documentation.
Performs basic patient care responsibilities as ordered by the physician and per standards of nursing care, considering age appropriate needs.
Evaluates the patients condition and response to treatments, notifying the physician, charge nurse and other care givers as appropriate.
