A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
Designing test plans, scenarios, code reviews and developing automated scripts based on business requirements.
Performing functional and nonfunctional testing, application and regression, to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards.
Participating in end-to-end testing coordination.
Analyzing system logs, identifying, and investigating issues found during testing, assisting Software Engineers/PO’s in triage and impact analysis.
Analyzing requirements and contributing actively to refinement sessions to ensure that requirements meet design specifications and standards.
Executing performance tests within Scrum Teams to ensure early detection of issues.
Assisting in troubleshooting and investigation of issues/concerns.
Enhancing automation framework, creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.
Optimizing performance of test execution through innovation.
Supporting UAT initiatives by providing data set up, access, and troubleshooting issues.
Performing other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable work experience
4-6 years related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in performance testing and engineering roles, with a focus on complex and large-scale applications
Proven expertise in performance testing tools and techniques such as JMeter, K6, LoadRunner, Gatling, and proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with load testing, stress testing, and performance monitoring
Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and network protocols.
Experience with distributed systems and cloud-based performance testing and utilizing cloud services for scalability testing.
Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and communicate complex issues effectively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
