Gerencia en PMO Finanzas (Fintech)
Overview:
The Head of PMO will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the successful and timely deployment of Cashi’s, credit and remittances initiatives and developments.
This individual will lead a team of program managers, collaborate across departments, and be the primary communicator for project status, risks, and issues to the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Management:
– Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3-4 program managers, ensuring their growth and success within the department.
– Drive the creation and refinement of PMO processes, methodologies, and tools.
2. Communication:
– Act as the primary liaison between the financial services teams and leadership, communicating project status, potential risks, and mitigation action plans.
– Ensure consistent and timely updates to stakeholders and key departments.
3. Collaboration:
– Foster strong working relationships with business, tech, engineering, product, legal, accounting, and other critical teams.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, resources, and timelines.
– Mediate and resolve any inter-departmental issues or misalignments that may arise.
4. Project Oversight:
– Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Cashi’s initiatives and developments, ensuring they meet set objectives and are delivered on time.
– Ensure all relevant stakeholders are well informed of requirement and that delivery plans are aligned in advance.
– Identify and manage potential risks, ensuring that mitigation plans are in place and executed when necessary.
– Ensure that all projects adhere to the highest quality standards and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
5. Continuous Improvement:
– Continuously assess the effectiveness of PMO processes and make necessary improvements.
– Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in project management and bring relevant insights into the organization.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
– Minimum of 4 experience in project or program management, preferably in the financial services sector.
– Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.
– Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
