Role Summary:
Volkswagen is striving to lead the connected vehicle with its electric vehicle platforms. The Digital Lifecycle Management (DLCM) Manager will strive to ensure that all electric vehicles in the field are updated via, OTA, in dealer, at the factory or ports if required.
• This position will be responsible for steering and managing all aspects related to the abovementioned updates.
• The Portfolio Manager will work closely with internal partners (i.e. VW IT&S, NAR/E, CARIAD etc.) to realize this goal.
• Prepare all necessary milestones and/ or decision papers to ensure the approval and implementation of all necessary DLCM updates.
Role Responsibilities:
• 30% Steer and manage all aspects of DLCM updates for local electric vehicles.
• 15% lead DLCM cross functional team – create an efficient work environment among all involved departments.
• 15% Presenting and reporting at decision making committees within VWGoA and VW Group
• 10% Secure financial resources for implementation of the DLCM updates
• 10% Represent G4 NAR in the respective product committees
• 5% Improve awareness of the North American Region and transfer new relevant trends into the product/module planning and development process
• 5% Define long term goals for product enhancement over the lifecycle
• 5% Analyze US specific competitors and customer expectations
• 5% Align with all other NAR products to secure pursuit of common goals and observe standards
Qualifications:
Years of Experience:
• 10-15 years automotive industry experience
• 10+ years of experience in Product and/or Project management, including business case and milestone responsibility
Education – Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering
Education – Desired:
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering
• German language skills

• Experience with Over The Air (OTA) technology
• Experience and leadership skills in matrix organizations
• Capability to lead and motivate cross functional teams to work on common goals despite contradicting individual goals exists
Work Flexibility:
• Travels to business partners within the NAR and worldwide locations may be necessary
