Housing Assistance Property Manager
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Housing Assistance Property Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and supervision of the Housing Assistance department. The Housing Assistance Manager works directly with the VP of Property Management, Accounts Receivable Department and Property Management teams in the decision-making regarding occupancy and financial performance of homes under housing assistance programs across all markets. The Housing Assistance Property Manager is the liaison between VineBrook Homes and Housing Assistance Authorities. This position will have direct oversight of the financial performance and compliance of residents within the housing assistance programs. The Housing Assistance Property Manager will assist and coordinate in the timely onboarding of occupied acquisitions and initial set up to begin receiving payments, determines eligibility during onboarding and renewal, monitors and ensures compliance with dwelling lease agreements and financial performance of the assigned properties. We require strong communication, organization, computer, and people skills, which are the foundation for success in this position. Prior experience in the property management industry and Public Housing experience is required. Preferred candidates will have 2+ years of experience in managing an affordable property, and possess a CAM, CPO, NAHP, COS, BOS, HCCP, or LITCH certification.
