Velocity Global Brands Looking for Men’s Sportswear & Activewear Designer at Las Vegas, NV Full Time

Velocity Global Brands is currently seeking a Men’s Sportswear Designer to join our team based in Las Vegas, NV! Excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to be part of our growing business. Well known national brands!

Responsibilities:

• Research and present mood boards for color palette, key trends, fabric direction and silhouettes to the management team for Seasonal Inspiration
• Ensure that all recommendations cover line plan and business needs supplied by the management team.
• Present each line to the management team for Pre-line Adoption via sketches, cads, fabrics, colors, and trims.
• Review, present and provide feedback on all protos with production team.
• Attend all fittings and make necessary changes in order to meet business needs.
• Approve and comment on all lab dips and trims.
• Attend weekly business review and seasonal recap meetings.
• Visit customer Stores quarterly in order to gain knowledge of product selling and shop competition
• Visit and shop full price marketplace quarterly

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a designer
• Excellent creativity and delegation skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator
• Knowledge of pattern making, draping, garment construction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Garment construction: 3 years (Preferred)
• Fashion design: 3 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 3 years (Preferred)
