Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a User Experience Designer. The User Experience Designer will be responsible for working on day-to-day tasks associated with UI/UX projects, including design thinking, user research, visual design, prototyping and creating comprehensive documentation. Other responsibilities include
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to understand and define business and user requirements
- Crafting user flows, sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes
- Conducting user testing and heuristic evaluations to enhance product usability
- Ensuring that accessibility and usability are prioritized.
Qualifications
- User Experience (UX) Design skills, including design thinking, prototyping, and design systems knowledge
- Experience in user research and testing, including heuristic evaluations, surveys, and usability testing
- Visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and composition
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology, or relevant field
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive digital products is a plus
