Ko wai koe? – Who are
you?
You will have a PhD or an equivalent academic qualification and will be current working at or near the Associate
Professor or Professor level.
You’ll bring your significant research record (and understanding of funding environments),
including your national and/or international reputation and a record of performance in teaching and research as expected of a senior
academic position. You will have leadership and strategic experience – of people as well as academic programme development and review.
Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
You will have primary responsibility for developing and
enacting a strategic vision in support of high-quality academic programmes. The ADA leads efforts and internal committees to oversee
academic programmes and developments including prescriptions, new initiatives, programme moderation, and programme review.
A
significant part of the role is building relationships and engagement across heads at the University, teaching Councils and committees to
enhance the opportunities and initiatives which support the Division and the University’s strategy.
Salary range starts from
$132,540 based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. The role is fixed term for 5 years, with a potential for renewal
and a continuing academic position.
