We are looking for a hyper-creative, impact-oriented, enthusiastic team member to help elevate our communication efforts.
POSITION
OVERVIEW
The Sorenson Impact Center is looking for an experienced professional to provide strategic insights to the Center’s leadership team as a Senior Advisor. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the impact space, with demonstrated experience in working with high-level policy officials, Foundation/philanthropic leaders, impact investors or impact-related academics. This role will collaborate with the leadership team to help identify and develop growth opportunities.
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah; remote in U.S.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic insights to the development of new impact ideas in coordination with other senior Center leaders.
- Provide thought leadership regarding the Center’s role in the impact space to Center leadership.
- Provide policy guidance on innovative ways to re-address social and environmental problems
- Identify and engage external impact-related stakeholders that could further the work of the Center.
- Market and promote new and existing programs and services to internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate cooperative and collaborative community and institutional relationships.
- Develop applicable educational materials and share information in relevant formats. Examples include providing guest lectures, conference attendance/presentation, or other public-facing speaking opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area, or equivalency; eight years of progressively more responsible management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communications skills required.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, or related area preferred.
