Position Summary:
The School of Teacher Education at the University of Northern Colorado invites applications for part-time supervisor positions as we build our capacity to offer quality instruction to graduate students in our Master’s degree with World Languages teacher licensure program. Part-time supervisors hired will become vital members of the School’s nationally recognized teacher preparation programs, committed to the preparation of teachers teaching World Languages in K-12 setting. These positions are
filled semester by semester based on the needs of different programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA degree in relevant and appropriate area is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include K-12 teaching experience in World Language (Mandarin Chinese strongly desired) setting, and/or supervision experience, demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in school settings, knowledge of teaching best practices in World Language education. We seek candidates who can provide excellent classroom knowledge and a positive model of leadership in K-12 World Language Education.

Background Check
Satisfactory completion of a background check, educational check, and authorization to work in the United States is required after a conditional offer of employment has
been made. The successful candidate must submit original transcripts within one (1) month of hire.
This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado.
