The University of New Mexico’s (UNM) Office for Academic Personnel is seeking a customer-focused, forward-thinking HR Tech to provide support regarding faculty personnel actions, administrative support, personnel file maintenance, and record maintenance associated with client services and labor relations processes.
The Office for Academic Personnel (OAP) serves as a central service center for administrators and faculty within academic units on UNM’s Main and Branch campuses, overseeing the recruitment, selection, appointment, promotion, retention, and oversight of diverse, highly talented faculty members. Additionally, OAP supports administrators and graduate assistantship holders within academic units on UNM’s Main and Branch Campuses, and UNM’s Health Sciences Center, overseeing contract issuance and terminations for assistantship holders. The HR Tech will support OAP by independently performing routine HR and administrative support activities and in leading the coordination and administration of various HR initiatives.

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
