Definition of Class
This position
provides leadership and direction for school improvement projects. The incumbent manages projects and personnel. This position frequently
makes decisions by exercising discretion and independent judgment.
This is a position in which the incumbent provides leadership and
direction to schools and districts identified through the Office of School Improvement. The incumbent supports school improvement
activities. This position frequently makes decisions by exercising discretion and independent judgment when engaging with the Office of
School Improvement and the schools being served.

* Professional development delivered by the applicant at the local, state, and/or national level.
* Specific schools and
districts led/supported by the applicant with the corresponding time frame of support.
* Specific improvement/growth of schools supported
based on the state accountability model.
* Clear and specific job instructionally related responsibilities as school and/or district
administrator.

These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the

Minimum
Education/Experience
Education:
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or
university
AND
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described
duties.
AND
Licensure: Current Mississippi Administrator License, or the ability to transfer license from another state, per
requirements defined by the MS Department of Education.
