Position Description
The Department of Teacher Education at the University of Mississippi
seeks a full-time Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor of Teacher Education, beginning January 2023. The primary responsibilities of
the position are to teach undergraduate and/or graduate education courses in teacher education, supervise teacher education candidates,
participate in grant writing, service and community engagement. A portion of the successful candidate’s responsibilities will be overseeing
our virtual classroom.
This position is a nine-month, non tenure-track position involving teaching, service, and community
engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have earned a Specialist degree or higher in Teacher
Education or a closely related field. Applicants must also have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated effective teaching in K-12 education
with the potential to teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses and supervise pre-service candidates
