Position Description
The Sally
McDonnell Barksdale Honors College (SMBHC) at the University of Mississippi seeks applicants for an Instructional Assistant
Professor/Barksdale Fellow. This 9-month teaching contract, renewable for up to three years, carries a 4/4 teaching load, service
responsibilities, and starts 21 August 2023. This is a renewable position with benefits.
Applicants must have completed at least a
master’s degree by the hiring date. Experience as a recipient of a major national scholarship such as a Rhodes, Marshall, Gates, or Mitchell
is preferred but not required.
