Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) – Gastroenterology – MD/DO

University of Michigan Health – West is seeking a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to join an innovative, collaborative environment. The ideal Candidate would be fellowship trained in IBD or have prior experience in IBD management. The Candidate would join a growing and expanding Service Line with expertise in general Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Advanced Endoscopy and IBD.
GI Practice Features

- Subspecialty service lines including IBD, Interventional endoscopy, and Hepatology already operational
- Co-located Colorectal Surgeon
- Single hospital coverage with equally shared call
- Dedicated GI hospital outpatient department adjacent to the hospital with plans to expand to additional ambulatory surgical center when needed
- Access to a system infusion center
- Olympus HD 190 Scopes
- APP support for inpatient and outpatient work
- EMR (Epic) with digital retrieval and access to studies from the office, the hospital and home
- Opportunities for teaching, clinical research, case conferences, and working closely with Michigan Medicine faculty members
