The Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a highly motivated Quality, Strategy, and Special Projects Coordinator who will serve to advance key Clinical Quality and Strategic Programs and Special Departmental Projects across the Department of Radiation Oncology, and in alignment with Michigan Medicine priorities and strategic plans.
This is a one year term limited position with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities*
Statewide Clinical Quality Program Support- Project management of capacity building for clinical quality improvement initiatives across all care environments. Staff Clinical Quality Committee. Identify and design clinical quality improvements across the ambulatory care settings throughout the statewide network. Optimize care quality by partnering with clinicians to lead complex analysis, experimentation, and implementation of care delivery integration
Strategic Analysis and New Programs Development- Clinical Programs: Direct analyses to support the design of strategic plans for the future of Radiation Oncology clinical programs. Includes conduct of comprehensive operational design and implementation of new multidisciplinary programs, and operational integration of Radiation Oncology subspecialties throughout our community network
Special Projects: Lead and manage other prioritized department initiatives, as assigned by CDA and Chair

This is a 1-year term-limited appointment. At the end of the stated term, your appointment will terminate, and will not be eligible for Reduction-in-Force (RIF) benefits. This term-limited appointment does not create a contract or guarantee of employment for any period of time as you will remain subject to disciplinary or other performance measures, up to and including termination, at the will of the University in accordance with existing University policy and standards for employee performance and conduct.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
