Job Description
The Department of
Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies (TECS) within the College of Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites
applications for a lecturer position with a focus on secondary education, specifically secondary English Language Arts. This position also
includes the coordination of a Secondary Teacher Education licensure pathway.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to
contribute to teacher preparation programs emphasizing methods of teaching English Language Arts, clinical field experiences, social justice
and equity in education, culturally and linguistically sustaining pedagogies, schools and schooling in the US, and other courses in our
graduate programs and undergraduate education major. We seek a teacher-scholar with a demonstrated commitment to social justice,
diversity, equity, and inclusion.
