The undergraduate Educational Studies program at the University of La Verne invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach an undergraduate course in the field of Mathematics for Educators.
Catalog course description: This course is designed to cover several major themes in mathematics. It will also address theories and applications of STEM by integrating the study of science, technology, engineering and mathematics by using scientific inquiry and engineering design as unifying processes. The use of innovation and the development of problem-solving, critical thinking and collaboration skills. Emphasis will be on developing activities for the effective presentation of math curriculum to a diverse student population. Must be available to teach at the following campuses:
Main Campus
Ontario Campus (Crafton Hills location)
Burbank Campus (College of the Canyons)
