Job Description
The University of Indianapolis invites
applications for the Part-time role of Practicum Coordinator and Instructor within our Teacher Education Program, with a focus on elementary
and secondary education in our transition-to-teaching program. This position plays a pivotal role in bridging theoretical knowledge with
practical classroom experience for our pre-service teachers. The successful candidate will coordinate, supervise, and teach the practicum
components of our program, ensuring that our future educators are effectively prepared for the multifaceted realities of both elementary and
secondary
teaching environments.

Qualfications
The ideal candidate will
possess a strong background in education, particularly in elementary and secondary education. They will have significant teaching
experience and a deep understanding of pedagogical theories, curriculum development, and student assessment. A master’s degree in education
or a related field is required, and a Doctorate degree is preferred. Previous experience in a similar role within a university setting will
be highly advantageous. The candidate should also demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
