Job Summary
The Project and Registry Manager will work as project manager and liaison for Dr. Kerlikowske’s breast cancer and breast imaging research portfolio. The largest project is the San Francisco Mammography Registry (SFMR), which is active in breast imaging facilities throughout the Bay Area and reports to 7 different Institutional Review Boards. The incumbent will be responsible for initiating new IRB applications for new breast imaging studies and implementing new protocols for electronic questionnaire data collection. This position includes providing guidance to one PT Research Coordinator.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% – 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Department Description
The Department of Medicine (DOM), the largest department in the School of Medicine, has close to 600 full- time faculty leading top-notch research, clinical, and education programs. The Department has a decentralized organizational structure across four sites (Parnassus, ZSFG, SFVAHCS and Mt. Zion) and 38 divisions. Authority and accountability for the Department rests with the Department Chair who heads the Parnassus and Mt. Zion sites, and also directs the Vice Chairs at the ZSFG and SFVAHCS sites.
