Job Summary
The project analyst will serve as primary project management and analytical support to the Faculty Space Review
Committee. This role will create and monitor workplans for the core project team; explain the purpose of the process to many stakeholders (including faculty and administrators); perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess space utilization; prepare presentations to share findings with senior leaders; and continually seek ways to make the process more efficient and impactful. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and communicating clearly about complex and nuanced topics. This position can be a hybrid work model, but some on-site work is required.
This position may be eligible for hybrid/remote work arrangements. Also, this position is a CONTRACT (2-Year from Start Date) appointment.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% – 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Department Description
The organization of UCSF Real Estate is focused on the development, planning, delivery and management
of physical space for UCSF. Key responsibilities include a unified approach to oversee the active UCSF growth planned on a multi-site campus and to manage the complex metropolitan environments affecting capital assets and projects and efforts to align municipal challenges with maximum effectiveness in support of the UCSF mission.
The department serves to provide the following services, which includes:
UCSF Real Estate includes approximately 154 UCSF and contract personnel; operating/recharge budgets of more than $60M per year; current year capital project expenditures of $208M; and oversight and responsibility for a $9.7B long-range capital development plan.
