Overview:
The Department of Radiation Oncology is responsible for patient care, teaching, research, and public/community service in the field of Radiation Oncology. Our clinical practice sites are located at Parnassus, Mt. Zion, and Mission Bay. Administrative activities related to HR, finance, and research are located at the MCB (Mission Center Building) site.
About the Educational Programs:
The Department of Radiation Oncology Educational Programs span across three sites and encompass various training and educational initiatives. These programs include the ACGME Radiation Oncology Residency Training Program, Non-ACGME Clinical Fellowship programs, Physics Residency Training Program, Graduate Student Research Program, Visiting Resident Program, Undergraduate Medical Education clerkships, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $30.30 – $36.35. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate, position requirements, AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Department Description
UCSF’s Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees for immediate clerical and technical support services to UCSF Departments and various off-campus locations. UCSF departments deploy temporary employees to work on special projects, fill in for regular employees who are on vacation or leave, or to temporarily fill a vacant position during recruitment. Frequently temporary employees become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions.
