Position Highlights | The Department of Radiation Oncology is currently hiring an enthusiastic and self-driven Program Coordinator (Medical Education Program Professional I) for their medical residency program located in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Banner Clinic at 3838 N. Campbell. This role primarily focuses on administrative duties and close collaboration with medical students to ensure they receive the necessary education for their success as doctors. The position is responsible for maintaining accreditation standards, ensuring compliance, and assisting the residency program director in candidate selection. Additionally, the Program Coordinator works closely with the Student Clerkship Director to coordinate medical student rotations. Taking a comprehensive approach, the Program Coordinator aims to provide an excellent residency experience. Strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to prioritize responsibilities, are crucial for this role. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, strong organizational skills, and adaptability to change. The Department of Radiation Oncology recognizes that flexible work arrangements can provide employees with many benefits. Preferred Qualifications | * Prior experience and familiarity with the University of Arizona policies and procedures as well as knowledge of systems and resources. * Experience with ERAS and New Innovations. *Prior experience in a healthcare or educational setting, preferably in a residency program or similar role. |
