The Unit of General Biology and Medical Genetics (Errichiello Lab) is seeking a Graduate Student for a 1-year (renewable) fellowship, as part of a multicenter collaborative research project investigating genotype-phenotype correlations in immunodeficiency and vaccine response.
Qualifications and skills
The successful candidate should have experience in molecular cloning, cell culture and western blotting/co-immunoprecipitation (qPCR/sequencing would be a plus). In parallel with functional assays, the candidate will have the chance to deal with the most recent approaches to Personalized/Precision Medicine based on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and bioinformatics, bridging the gap between clinic and basic sciences.
