The Manager of Distribution Operations in Optum Frontier Therapies will be on the team of an exciting business serving patients with rare diseases. Frontier Therapies partners with pharma/biotech manufacturers, health care providers, health systems, and payers to champion a better model of care for patients to help patients realize the promise of clinical outcomes unlocked by advanced therapeutics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple distribution sites within the Optum Frontier Therapies portfolio. Under general supervision from the Director of Operations, Optum Frontier Therapies Pharmacy and Specialty Distribution, the Manager of Distribution Operations will be responsible for expanding operational capabilities and managing multiple distribution centers. This role will partner closely with various leaders and departments across the organization including real estate services, licensing, regulatory, legal, supply chain, finance, and people business partners. This position will provide coaching, mentoring, and support in the development of customer account associates supporting our customers. As a new Optum business, we are building on our strengths but also challenging the status quo. We are creating a business that is designed to specifically serve the unique needs of rare disease patient populations and support the emerging therapies, which require enhanced services and new capabilities over traditional specialty distributors. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining operational excellence through our accredited and licensed specialty distribution business by executing on the strategy, winning new business, and scaling our capabilities to serve our customers in support of the Optum Frontier Therapies distribution model. This will require the successful candidate to develop others via short and long-term goal planning, while also deploying the best strategy to organize and maximize efficiencies in our distribution centers. This role will be measured by the operational efficiency at which our distribution centers operate, as well as the speed with which we expand the business. Metrics for this leader will include onboarding and launching new clients and the successful development of new team members.

Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Nevada residents is $85,000 to $167,300. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
