This job requires military service with a contract for enlistment or commission. This is not an application to a specific position within the military. This job is only an example of a position that you could be placed in after taking a job placement exam.
Enlistment entails that you speak to a recruiter, take a job placement exam, complete a physical exam, choose from the career options that are presented to you, sign a career contract, take the oath of enlistment, and attend boot camp.
NO WORK EXPERIENCE NEEDED. ENTRY LEVEL POSITION- The Army will fully train you for any job without experience.

U.S. Army Infantryman (11B) – Entry Level
Active (Full Time): As a part of a team of soldiers, you secure your future with a career in the Active-Duty Army (full-time), pay for college, guaranteed full healthcare for you and your immediate family members. Reserve (Part Time: 1 weekend a month): As a part of a local team of soldiers, you secure your future with a career in the Army Reserve, pay for college, and access to low-cost healthcare with family benefits. Infantryman Job Overview
As an Infantry Soldier, you’ll serve in the field, working to defend our country against any threats on the ground. You’ll capture, destroy, and deter enemy forces, assist in reconnaissance, and help mobilize troops and weaponry to support the mission as the ground combat force.

Basic Qualifications:
· Age – 17 to 34 years old (ages 35 to 38 can be waived)
· Must be a US citizen or Green Card Holder
· No open law violations.
· Must pass a drug screening
· Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Training
Job training for an Infantryman requires 22 weeks of Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training with on the job instructions. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field with on-the-job instructions, including practice in handling and storing stock.
*Advance Individual Training: 8 weeks at Fort Lee, VA*

Army Compensation:
