Job Summary:
United Legwear & Apparel Co (ULAC) is growing and needs to build a marketing and creative services organization to support its existing and new businesses. The new marketing and creative services team will support the product design and development team and sales teams in all aspects of product and consumer marketing, from concept through in-store / online execution.
The Marketing Production Manager is a critical part of the new team and will play a pivotal role to help ULAC enhance their marketing capabilities by improving process, overseeing all aspects of sample management, photo shoot production, post-production schedules, calendarization and workflow.
Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):
• Act as the bridge and product expert between internal CF teams (sales, merchandising, production, marketing) and external partners, connecting the process from pre-to-post-production.
• Build and maintain basics / core sample closet to enhance capabilities.
• Own and manage photoshoot calendar build out, maintenance and distribution as needed.
• Manage day-to-day prep, operations, and execution of all products, on figure, still and lifestyle photography shoots.
o Develop shot lists.
o Coordinate, organize and review samples for all photo-shoots upon receipt.
o Prep, style product and looks ensuring adherence to creative direction and brand
guidelines.
o Plan and manage internal / external style out, look review and approvals w/CF team.
• Work directly with agencies for casting, fittings, negotiating rates and usage fees.
• Scheduling, booking, on-site coordination and oversight of crew, photographers, assistants, hair, makeup, tailors, catering, locations, studios as needed.
• On set photo shoot producer providing oversight and assistance to art director for style guides, on set selects, and set direction.
• Build call sheet sand distribute to agencies, stylist, photographer and internal crew.
• Studio management (upkeep, improvements, photography supplies, scheduling, etc.).
• Manage budgets, reconcile all shoot related/billing and expenses.
• Manage quality control and product accuracy from pre-production – post-production.
• Partner with art director, retoucher and external resources on image review and mark ups.
• Manage post-production mark ups, retouching, account requirements and organization of server.
• Coordinate image / asset review, approval process and sign off w/CF team.
• Communicate when assets are final, approved and ready for distribution to sales
• Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 3+ years of on-set photo shoot styling and coordination: product, still, on figure and lifestyle.
• 3+ years of sample management experience in the apparel / retail industry.
• Experience with a multi-brand wholesale / licensed company & product a plus.
• Experience with established digital asset and project management systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as required for effective interpersonal communication Organized and process orientated, with exceptional attention to detail and follow up.
• Ability to work towards multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Strong understanding of printing and pre-production basics.
• Self-starter with the ability to make recommendations and problem solve.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.
