UMass Memorial Medical Center Looking for Nurse Practitioner, Palliative Care at Worcester, Massachusetts Full Time

The Division of Palliative Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join its established program to provide inpatient and outpatient consultation services for a diverse patient population in a dynamic teaching environment.

• Curricula development at the UMass Graduate School of Nursing, including communication skills practice at our state-of-the-art simulation center;

• Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm – rotating holiday and weekend coverage
• Inpatient/outpatient consult service
• The NP will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality symptom management, support with complex medical decision-making, and facilitating difficult conversations. Excellent communication skills required.

Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

Required:

• Masters or doctoral degree.
• Graduate of approved Nurse Practitioner program with certification.
• Current Massachusetts license.

Experience/Skills:

Preferred:

• 3-5 years of experience.
