TIS is growing! We are currently looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our Portland team – Remote US-Based.

Transervice Logistics Inc. consists of multiple divisions specializing in a wide range of logistics services, including: dedicated contract maintenance, full service equipment leasing, contract carriage and non-asset logistics solutions.

Transervice formed Transervice Integrated Solutions (TIS) to deliver both 3PL and 4PL logistics solutions to existing and new customers. TIS utilizes cutting-edge proprietary technology that emphasizes automation, efficiency, and cost-savings when executing shipments.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Relevant Experience: 2+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Entering and updating customer shipment requests within our proprietary TMS.
• Negotiating rates with carriers to achieve target margins.
• Developing and managing a carrier portfolio in addition to regularly posting loads to external freight management websites.
• Providing timely updates and communicating effectively with clients and carriers from the point of booking through to completion.
• Ensuring any issues are addressed and resolved promptly.

Requirements

• Dispatching and/or carrier sales experience; refrigerated freight a plus.
• Experience with DAT preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and phone skills.
• Ability to problem solve in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
