What you’ll do:
The Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer’s role will be centered around Electric Vehicle-Level systems, ensuring they are integrated sufficiently to meet requirements and drive customer satisfaction. This role will have testing oversight and will bridge cross functional interfaces. A successful candidate will have a self-starting mentality, strong communication skills and enjoys working on a variety of projects simultaneously.
• Lead Vehicle-Level system activities with cross-functional teams including feature and requirements definition
• Work closely with the test teams to help scope planned testing to ensure all requirements will be tested according to defined requirements and verification methods.
• Driving adherence to the DVP schedule.
• Work closely with the design release engineers to bridge any gaps between the different teams
• Participate in the Engineering Change Process applying critical thinking to ensure all functional impacts are considered and the best system decisions are being made within timing, resource, and financial constraints.
• Work closely with the vehicle build team to capture system integration issues with prototype builds and drive the various teams for solutions
• Collaborate with the software team to ensure all of the inputs and outputs of the various systems are supported and operating as expected
• Manage calendar and prioritization of fleet usage
What you need to be successful:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of electrical and mechanical systems testing experience
• Knowledge of automotive systems, commercial truck systems, or agricultural systems
• A history of coordinating multiple projects and partnering cross-functionally
• Electric vehicle (EV) expertise preferred
