Junior Creative Job Description
Who are we?
We are PHA, a leading integrated comms agency with offices in London, Manchester, Leeds, and Wokingham. Founded in a small office off of Carnaby Street in 2005 by our Chairman and former newspaper editor Phil Hall, we have evolved to offer public relations, creative activations, social media, and digital marketing services to our enviable client roster. From renowned consumer brands to household corporate names, our teams deliver top-tier work to start-ups, global companies, and everything in between.
We are now looking for a passionate, ambitious, and entrepreneurial Junior Creative to join our growing Creative team. You can expect to support clients across consumer, corporate, healthcare, sport, and fitness brands, and will need at least two years’ experience in a comparable role with transferable skills.

What will you do?
All of our roles, from Junior Account Executive to Divisional Managing Director, work to the same five core responsibilities, with specific competencies appropriate to the level detailed under each. This gives clarity to all employees regarding what is expected of them, and a clear vision for career progression.
Client and integrated responsibilities
• Following new business wins and creative upsells, work closely with the Creative Director &/or PR teams to activate campaigns, including the management of pre-production, production, and delivery stages
• Manage campaign timelines and budgets to ensure all creative elements are delivered to a high quality, on-time, and within budget.
• Work autonomously or in partnership with others to ideate, suggest, and deliver multi-channel creative concepts/ideas, with a focus on earned- first thinking that generates media coverage
• Demonstrate ways in which a creative concept/idea can be developed, suggesting how it can launch and be sustained throughout a campaign period, and by using content, activations, stunts, events, etc.
• Brief and work closely with PHA’s Design team to bring ideas/activations to life, creating mocks, mood boards, etc., and pull on own cultural stylistic references for unique inspiration
• Liaise with third party production partners to bring a concept to fruition, including storyboarding and scripting
• Attend and start to lead internal creative brainstorms
Growth responsibilities
• Work closely with the Creative Director to support the agency on its new business function for all proposal and pitch documents, with key responsibilities including:
• Creative ideation and development
• Visual direction to bring ideas to life (working closely with the Design team)
• Assisting on activation plans (working closely with PR teams)
• Managing feedback and amends
• Present concepts/ideas internally to teams and externally to clients
• Support and start to lead the process of identifying creative upsells within the business, finding opportunities to sell .amplify’s service proposition with other divisional teams, helping to enhance the creative output for clients and the business
• Be involved with internal projects, helping to shape marketing and agencywide campaigns that promote agency news and attract new business prospects
People and stakeholder management
• Ownership of briefing calls with internal teams, including accurately documenting and circulating actions
• Start to develop upward management skills, communicating successes and flagging issues/challenges to the Creative Director or other senior team members at the earliest opportunity
• Start to develop strong relationships with internal teams, becoming a trusted day to day point of contact, providing regular updates
Industry knowledge
• Learn from and share best practice creative campaigns within the .amplify team as well as the wider agency to inspire new ways of working
• Develop an understanding of emerging platforms, tools, etc., and how they can help enhance creative ideas and outputs
• Build your network by identifying ways to work with new agency partners, suppliers, and creatives to enhance creative ideas and outputs
• Maintain and help to build PHA’s freelance network, ensuring teams are aware of who it entails and what they can help create
Agency responsibilities
• Participate in agencywide activities and initiatives to build relationships with colleagues to include All Staff training, social events, and internal seminars relevant to level
• Regularly attend role-specific training organised through the PHA Academy
• Work with the Creative Director to host and create content for the internal creative training programme
• Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team by contributing to business profiling and industry commentary opportunities where possible, e.g., writing articles
