Reporting to the recently appointed Marketing Director, you will be responsible for leading and growing a team of marketing professionals and devising strategies to meet key marketing and sales objectives across lead generation, customer up-sales and customer communications.
We are looking for a senior marketer with strong communication skills who can effectively work with key stakeholders across the business and help to drive collaborate approaches to meeting common business goals.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy across content marketing, campaigns, email and events that increases brand visibility and drives qualified leads, up-sales and customer engagement.
As one of our most vital channels, own and oversee the email marketing strategy to drive new business leads, product up-sales and ongoing customer engagement.
Working closely with our CRM team and external HubSpot partners, oversee the effective segmentation of email lists and data to improve targeted messaging and personalization across email marketing.
Manage a campaign and content calendar that drives visibility, lead generation and customer engagement through blog posts, whitepapers, videos, webinars, and other relevant content formats.
Work closely with our in-house content and graphics teams to generate all relevant content marketing assets to support campaigns and email marketing, ensuring clear and concise briefs are provided to meet expectations and create efficiencies.
Work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure campaigns and content are effectively pushed through key digital channels (e.g., social media), analysing results and refining future activity and strategies to improve results.
Provide ongoing support, insight and marketing leadership to the sales team to improve and evolve our approach to new business generation, inputting with strategies to test and trial, strong lead gen copy and creatives to drive leads.
Work closely with the sales team to build an effective strategy that helps us to maximise LinkedIn as a key sales channel for new business generation.
Manage and deliver our extensive annual events plan, owning and managing on the delivery of all collateral required to ensure success.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of lead generation, up-sales and customer engagement efforts to continuously improve strategies.
Alongside our Head of Brand and Comms, ensure all copy and messaging is aligned to our brand standards and expectations from our customers.
Requirements:
Proven experience in creating and delivering effective marketing strategies.
Strong leadership experience with the ability to build high performing teams.
Experience working with HubSpot (or similar CRM experience).
Significant experience across email, content and campaign marketing.
Strong experience devising lead generation strategies.
Previous experience of working with and managing external suppliers.
Experience owning and managing day-to-day marketing budgets.
Education or Learning & Development sector experience is desirable
