The O’Connell lab is seeking a Bioinformatician I to develop algorithms and computational resources to analyze and interpret research and clinical data. The Bioinformatician will work with the PI to understand biomedical questions, develop algorithmic approaches to address them and to implement the approaches in scripts or programs. They will focus on the development and implementation of methods to analyze and integrate genetic, transcriptomic, and phenotypic data from genetically diverse mouse populations that model aging and age-related neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and related dementia.

The salary range is $63,744 – $106,723. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
