The Islesford Dock Restaurant is looking for a new Chef to join our family of misfits and head up our kitchen for the summer of 2022. The ideal candidate would have an extreme passion for food, supreme organizational skills, several years of experience, patience and kindness towards others, and a motivational spirit. In other words, we are looking for a unicorn but, luckily for us, The islesford Dock Restaurant is a magical place.

A season at the Islesford Dock is an extremely busy and hectic one, our employees work extremely hard but still find time to play. As we are located on one of the outer islands off Mount Desert Island, which is only accessible by boat, we end up being more of a close-knit family than many other restaurants. This also means that creativity and thinking on our feet comes with the territory.
