About The Grieving Pint:

The Grieving Pint is a mental health charity set up in 2023 to promote conversation between males under 30 about their mental health in environments in which they feel comfortable to do so across the UK. We achieve this through partnerships with local breweries which host our biweekly sessions where young males can come down and have an open conversation over a pint. This also encourages collective and responsible drinking, dissuading solo drinking during grief and struggle.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an innovative and forward thinking Head of Marketing to drive our branding and social media initiatives, crafting a compelling narrative that resonates with our target audience. The successful candidate will lead in creating and curating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and building a strong brand presence that reflects The Grieving Pint’s values and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Branding Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive branding strategy that reflects The Grieving Pint’s identity and resonates with our community. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
• Social Media Management: Lead the creation and management of a dynamic social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Plan and schedule content, monitor engagement, and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely and empathetic manner.
• Content Creation: Oversee the development of high-quality, emotionally resonant content, including social media posts, articles, videos, graphics, and other visual assets. Ensure that all content aligns with the company’s mission and values.
• Audience Engagement: Develop strategies to grow and engage our online community. Foster meaningful interactions, encourage user-generated content, and create opportunities for open dialogue and support.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and provide regular reports to the executive team. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
• Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and pursue partnership opportunities and collaborations to expand The Grieving Pint’s reach and impact.

Qualifications:

• Background in marketing or branding is preferred.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and sensitivity through online interactions.
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and visual aesthetics.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
