*Will consider highly qualified candidates from additional locations. This position will take part in Elevance Health’s hybrid work model which includes remote work and 1-4 days in office per month.
The Recruiter (Nurse/Physician Residency Outreach) is responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process while ensuring superior candidate experience.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Partner with Program Manager leading the Carelon Care Delivery Preceptorship program.
Including building meaningful partnerships and relationships with medical and nursing programs.
Develop strategies to pipeline critical clinical positions and future clinical talent needs with superior talent, while ensuring a diversity of talent for each open position.
Sourcing, Interviewing, and presenting qualified lists of prescreened candidates to Talent Acquisition Manger and CORE Recruiter for NP and Physician openings.
Send weekly reports to Talent Acquisition Manager regarding candidates and requisition status.
Advising and consulting the business on the right fit, oversees the sourcing, screening, and interview processes in order to acquire the best talent to meet business needs.
Function as the talent champion that can energetically sell the role and the Elevance Health brand to candidates.
Manage end-to-end talent acquisition process ensuring superior candidate experience; shepherd candidates and business representatives through the process.
Partner with human resource business partners and talent acquisition program managers.
Serve as a single point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout recruiting process.
Consult hiring managers on talent needs and recommend candidate slate.
Develop sourcing strategies in conjunction with hiring manager and Sourcing Center.
Direct sourcers in conducting sourcing and resume screening processes.
Direct coordinators in supporting seamless candidate process.
Conduct phone screens for candidates.
Work with talent acquisition support team to ensure hiring managers can conduct interviews.
Aggregate evaluation feedback for final hiring decision.
Negotiate and close offers and communicate decisions with candidates.
Effectively utilize available technologies to maximize efficiency, quality, and productive.
Up to 25% travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a BA degree in HR related field and/or marketing or communications field and a minimum of 3 years of talent acquisition experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates required.
Experience utilizing current talent acquisition digital technologies required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences
Ability to interface with candidates in an engaging and persuasive manner; ability to partner with, advise, and influence hiring managers in a consultative manner to foster long-term relationships strongly preferred.
Experience with both corporate (in-house) and third-party recruiting strongly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the TA landscape in health insurance industry strongly preferred.
Masters degree; Professional HR/TA Certification(s) strongly preferred.
