• Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.

• Perform inspection of parts, does coating, labeling/boxing, and
general preparation for shipment.
• Check parts for cracks, loose connections, faulty bonds, and faulty
assembly.
• Record test results in testing log. Route products for rework or
salvage of usable parts.
• Route reworked assemblies for testing. Clean completed assemblies.
Assemble parts according to blueprint specifications.
• Test parts by connecting to test equipment setting controls,
observing readings and actions of instrument checking for
malfunctions.
• May fabricate instrument parts through crimping, staking, and
cutting.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly
condition.
• Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope
and skill level of this job description in support of department
objectives
and to develop individual skills.
• Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-
instruct as required.
• Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including
conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
• Determine hardware locations per blue prints and mylars.
• Must have knowledge of LEE Plugs, dowel pins, roll/spring pins,
inserts (Tangled and Tangless) pem nuts, rivets standoffs, bushings
and ferules.
• Set up counterskinks per fastener requirements and shop router.
• Open holes to blue print size and countersink if required.
• Deburr and/or chamfer holes.
• Set – up and operate drill press
• Set – up and operate hand drill
• Set – up and operate ‘C” squeeze
• Set – up and operate hand squeeze
• Set – up and operate Torque Wrench
• Set – up and operate Haegar Press
• Perform preventative maintenance on assembly presses and tooling
• Assemble details per shop router
• Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2
years of relevant experience is required.
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours.
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Preferred experience:
• Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
• The ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.
• The ability to follow assembly instruction.
• The ability to effectively work in an environment requiring
repetitive job responsibilities.
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• The ability to understand end uses of products being built.
