Responsibilities

FULL DESCRIPTION:

• Enter a variety of data into computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data by double-checking entries for errors and inconsistencies.
• Update and maintain existing data as needed.
• Type and transcribe documents, forms, and records.
• Maintain a high typing speed while minimizing errors.
• Verify data accuracy and integrity by comparing it to source documents.
• Identify and correct errors or discrepancies in data.
• Organize and file electronic documents and data in a structured and accessible manner.
• Create and maintain data backup and archival systems.
• Review and cross-check data for completeness and consistency.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve data-related issues.
• Retrieve data from relevant sources as needed.
• Respond to data requests from colleagues or management.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and adhere to data security policies.
• Generate reports or summaries based on the entered data as required.
• Assist in data analysis tasks as necessary.

Requirements

• Proficiency in computer software, including data entry software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of data security and confidentiality protocols.
• Good communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Familiarity with data entry best practices and keyboard shortcuts is beneficial.
