Job description:
* We have an opportunity for a temporary contract Recruiting & Marketing Assistant on our Talent Acquisition team to play a key role in our retail transformation as we look to attract the best and brightest talent to Staples.
* You will support store hourly recruiting, from posting ads on Indeed and building Indeed Hiring Events, to helping with data population and sourcing candidates on different platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
* Position is 100% remote, for a 10 month contract.
* Support the Recruitment Marketing initiatives:
* Post PPC campaigns via Indeed Easy Apply and other sites
* Build and launch hiring events via Indeed (candidate nurturing responsibilities described below)
* Coordinate store budget requests for PPC advertising with vendors and business units
* Partner with the Recruitment Marketing Manager, business teams and vendors for tasks
* Leverage existing CRM to send mass email campaigns to markets with incoming marketing requests
* Monitor and maintain website popup messaging with new incoming requests
* Review the general retail inbox for incoming inquiries and respond accordingly
* Assist with data pulls from past campaigns to help build reporting
* Nurture candidates (leads) to become applicants.
* Nurture hiring event candidates who RSVP to ensure they will show up to the event
* Source candidates to attract them to RSVP to hiring events
* Post hiring event nurturing where you will contact all candidates that registered but did not attend and funnel that candidate through the application.
* Cross train in Easy Apply candidate recruiting and sourcing
* Contact all candidates in timely manner via phone, text, and/or e-mail
* Nurture candidates through the application process; provide the correct links and follow-up with candidates that have applied and those that need additional info. to still apply
* Speak with candidates and educate them on different store level roles, gauging their openness to the different roles and perform light screening
* Review the recruitment inbox for incoming inquiries and respond accordingly
* Source new hourly store candidates for identified roles and stores.
* Depending on candidate flow from job ads, hiring events and marketing support, there may be time spent reviewing profiles on Indeed and LinkedIn, sending recruitment messages to candidates
* Speak with prospective candidates and educate on store roles while conducting some screening
Requirements:
* Experience with basic Marketing knowledge – email campaigns, data, PPC ad building
* Strong customer service skills, including experience in a customer service, HR, or sales related role
* Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
* Strong attention to detail, follow-up and ability to move at a fast pace
* Ability to engage with people and market/sell to them
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to spend 1-2 days in a Staples Store during onboarding to learn about the environment and different roles within the store
* Programs – experience in some preferred but not required: Google Docs, Microsoft Suite, Taleo, Indeed, LinkedIn, Smashfly, Snagajob, HireVue and more
