Sunrise Brands, LLC Looking for Production Manager at New York, New York Full Time

Production Manager Overview:

As the Production Manager you will be responsible for developing and supporting a global sourcing strategy to support the product development and bulk production execution of multiple categories that meet brand quality standards, on-time delivery and brand margin goals.

Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Obtain Production Time and action calendars from all vendors and communicate the information to design/merchandising/tech and production teams.
• Manage the Production Time and action calendars to meet key milestones and monitor on-time delivery of production from Proto/SMS Fitting through production.
• Assist COO with the pre-costing process. Collecting costing charts/cost sheets and creating/updating cost charts to provide visibility for costing strategies.
• Utilize cost matrix by category during proto/SMS plan discussions to help direct design/ product development on raw material selection and style development to meet category cost and margin goals.
• Communicate and distribute confirmed projections/orders to internal teams and to garment vendors. Collect finalized cost sheets and best delivery dates and ensure Margin reports are accurate.
• Work with vendors to receive and review standard WIP reports weekly to ensure production schedule is on time. Reviewing/monitoring weekly shipping reports prior to weekly shipping calls with the customer.
•  Engage and facilitate daily communication with vendors to address all production related issues, including all issues related to customer compliance.
• Manage and review all confirmed costs and deliveries through WIP, ensuring ERP system and internal cost sheets reflect correct costs and delivery dates for vendors and cross functional departments.
• Oversee the Production Team to ensure that all daily tasks are completed in a timely manner, working closely and addressing any issues or questions that may arise.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of proven garment manufacturing and sourcing experience
• Knowledge of production, including manufacturing, product engineering, product lifecycle, calendar management, trade regulations, fabric performance and garment construction, and testing standards
• Excellent communication, presentation, time management, detail-oriented, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, self-motivate and self-starter.
