Barn manager or Head Wrangler is responsible for managing barn and guest time on horseback. This means keeping the barn organized, maintaining feed stocks, monitoring the herd’s health AND getting to know each guest individually. Catering to specific guest needs and requests each week, and organizing daily rides and wrangler duties. During the high season this person has an assistant, often called the head wrangler. Focus is to ensure guest delight, wrangler performance, and horse health.
