Stout’s Island Lodge Looking for Line Cook at Birchwood, Wisconsin Full Time

Stout’s Island Lodge is a historical island located on Red Cedar Lake in northern Wisconsin, and we want you to come experience it with us!

Our food and beverage is unique in the sense that we are a private island that mostly caters to our guests lodging with us or hosting an event on the island. Weekdays are mostly filled with reservation in our dining room or small corporate parties, and weekends we transition into either small (90 guest maximum) weddings or private island wedding buyouts. 

We are currently hiring for kitchen help with some experience preferred! Catering experience a huge plus!

Duties include

• prepping for dinner and various catering events
• Practice safe food handling when performing their duties
• . Prepare all meat, vegetables, and other ingredients for cooking.
• Prepare and plate customer meals to order.
• Follow all recipes as directed by Chef.
• Ensure all dishes, cookware, and utensils are cleaned and ready for next use.
• Properly store all food at the end of each shift.
• Breaking down primal cuts of meat/whole fish
• Closing duties

Room and board is included along with discounts on meals. Day’s off can be spent using kayaks or other water sports equipment  or exploring the area. And swimming of course!
