Overview:
Partnered with an exciting FinTech company within the Wealth Management space
Looking for an enthusiastic and talented Head of BD to join their fast-growing team, to drive rapid growth across various industries. If you are a driven and focused salesperson with a proven track record of scaling & growing teams in a high-growth and competitive environment, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities:
- Achieve the team sales target & scale up a team from 0 to 6.
- Maximize the team’s revenue, by signing up new customers, upselling to existing clients and implementing agreed price uplifts.
- Coordinate the preparation of quotations, RFIs, RFP or other documents.
- Work with the CCO and other Executive Team members to establish team sales quotas, growth plans, management, marketing, and market-capacity requirements.
- Help/motivate and facilitate the sales team to reach quarterly and annual goals.
- Assess current sales practices, and team structure, then implement changes to optimize performance.
- Act as a strategic business partner, thought leader, advisor, and partner to the CEO and cross functionally across the organization to establish and develop a strong and collaborative partnership to ensure continued success.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of true leadership experience in Financial Services, Digital Banks, Wealth Management or FinTech SaaS.
- Experience selling enterprise solutions into multiple B2B verticals – (Ideally into Payment, Banks or Capital Markets Industry)
- Banking, Wealth Management, WealthTech background.
- A high level of self-motivation and capable of working remotely.
- A track record of implementing sales practices and building successful sales teams.
- Ability to inspire trust and confidence in order to coach and develop your team.
