Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 Commensurate with Experience Job Summary: Exercise discretion and independent judgement while performing a variety of complex and routine administrative services associated with the Human Resources Department Duties require a high level of tact, trust, accuracy and confidentiality Essential Functions: Prepare and maintain job documentation of all onboarding and off boarding forms Conduct new hire and benefit orientations Placement of recruitment ads and postings Follow up with HR Assistant on initiation of onboarding forms after formal acceptance of offer of employment Maintain and ensure compliance with HR checklist of documentation required for new hires and terminations Represent HR in the consensus Values Interview process Track and manage time and attendance of all employees company wide Coordinate with Chief Talent Officer all in-house and outside training classes for employees as it relates to industry Track and maintain Insurance Licenses for employees Work with third party COBRA vendor for qualifying event notifications Responsible for the maintenance of all personnel files in accordance with state and federal guidelines Coordinate and collaborate with payroll administrator the input of new hires into ADP HRB, employee salary changes, title change and address change Coordinate and collaborate with IT Department for PC and Phone set ups for new employees and terminations Process employee status change and requisition form in timely manner Track and collect benefit payments during FMLA Complete employment verification forms Coordinate corporate sponsored events and programs Duties and Responsibilities: Post and advertise employment opportunities externally and internally Schedule CE classes and track of all broker licenses Coordinate employee incentive/discount programs Generate McQuaig surveys for new candidates as back up to HR Assistant Administer and explain benefits to employees (benefit orientation), serve as liaison between insurance carriers and employees Responsible for enrollment and termination of benefits for all employees Coordinate with Benefit Team to maintain inventory of benefit plan materials and new hire benefit kits Process Short Term and Long Term disability forms Design and prepare reports through HRB for salary analysis and benefit analysis Prepare and present company census for annual benefit renewals Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information with a sense of urgency and responsiveness Determine gaps in coverage at reception and coordinate coverage for the day, including breaks and lunch breaks Responsible for all other duties as assigned by the Chief Talent Officer Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree, combined with a three to five years’ experience in Human Resources Professional certification in the field of Human Resources a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent presentation skills and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor Exceptional organizational skills Ability to work alone on a broad variety of projects, as well as in a team environment Ability to exercise effective judgment Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events Ability to evaluate and analyze necessary HR reporting for salary analysis and benefit renewal Ability to build relationships and maintain confidentiality ADP (HRB) – ability to run reports through HRB/ADP Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
