Sterling Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide services at the Base Seattle Clinic. We are providing a company car for this opportunity!
Qualifications:
- All RNs shall possess a diploma from a National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) accredited school of nursing.
- The RN shall maintain a current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice social work in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience within the past three (3) years; with at least one (1) year of experience in family practice or internal medicine in the past five (5) years.
- A current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) or the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
- The RN shall maintain credentialing requirements in good standing at a local MTF
Responsibilities Include:
The RN will provide services to U.S. Coast Guard Base Seattle
Assess patients’ needs for nursing care and plan for nursing interventions
Provide nursing triage to acute issues
Administer oxygen, IV fluids, and prescribed medications
Prepare patients for surgical and/or diagnostic procedures
Participates in training to clinic staff
Prepare and submit documentation per DOD regulations
Provide coordination of care for referral management
Hours of Performance: Mon-Fri, 07:30am – 4:00pm
