ROLE:
*The Recruiting & HR Specialist will work at the Fremont facility will work under the guidance of our corporate Director of Human Resources to implement best practices related to policies, procedures and systems as well as ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy.*
Responsibilities:
• Assist with hiring managers to create job descriptions and sourcing strategy for all Fremont facility hiring.
• Coordinate all Fremont facility recruiting activities, interviews and best practices for hiring
• Manage payroll and benefits administration for the Fremont staff
• Coordinate semi-annual performance review process for the Fremont staff
• Coordinate on-going management training for the Fremont management team
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for steady, full lifecycle recruitment activities such developing job descriptions, sourcing,
screening and interviewing to attract and retain talent in the Fremont facility.
• Direct onboarding and training programs that reflect the company’s mission, vision and values.
• Provide compensation guidance to maintain a competitive and fair compensation structure.
• Manage and administer all benefit and leave programs, including participating in annual benefits
renewal.
• Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, positively impact morale,
increase productivity and retention.
• Manage performance review and merit cycles for the Fremont Staff
• Responsible for review and maintenance of all employment documentation.
• Participate on the Safety Compliance team
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment issues.
• Closely manage all workers compensation and unemployment claims.
• Work with payroll to ensure the timely submission, processing and problem resolution of employee
related transactions.

management systems.
Experience:
• 3-5 years experience in the talent acquisition / recruiting industry – preferrably in the medical device or bio-pharma industry
• Experience in HR specialist role
