Accounting Specialist
Do you have a high level of attention to detail and do you love numbers? StaffBuffalo is working with an amazing client looking for an Accounting Specialist role, paying up to $55,000/year. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a growing company in Buffalo!

This Accounting Specialist will be an integral part of the Finance department, provide Billing support, ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables are accurately processed and filed, and perform regular clerical duties accurately, timely, and completely. The Accounting Specialist will perform Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, data entry, general clerical tasks, and assisting with inventory support, when necessary. The successful Accounting Specialist will also handle some administrative tasks and customer service, related to taking orders over the phone and email.
It is imperative that this Accounting Specialist be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and has excellent oral and written communication skills. If you are a sharp accounting professional, with customer service, superb Data Entry skills, and extremely detail oriented and focused, then this is the position for you!

Required Qualifications:
2+ Years of Administrative Experience
General Accounting / Accounts Payable Knowledge
Strong Customer Service and Communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
Comfortable with Data Entry – Sage/QuickBooks systems
Inventory support functions
Education:
Associates Degree in Accounting or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
Office experience in a Manufacturing background preferred
Phone customer service and collections experience preferred
