Job Description
The K-12 Teacher Preparation Faculty is a full-time, 10-month position within the School of Arts & Sciences. Reporting to the Chair for Business, Education, and Social Sciences, this position will provide quality learning opportunities that assist students in all curriculum programs in meeting their educational goals and career aspirations. This individual has responsibility for teaching, learning, curriculum development, student learning assessment, advising, professional development, institutional service, and community relations. The faculty/program lead assumes primary responsibility for the curriculum, assessment, and advisement of K-12 Teacher Preparation programs, including two transfer degrees and certificate programs to support in-service educators.
Job responsibilities of the program lead are considered additional duties beyond those of curriculum faculty.
