Our client is seeking a Senior Manager of Social Engagement – Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Drive fresh social strategy forward by creating actionable plans and timelines by platform
Create social media copy guidelines that align with the new brand positioning and overarching social strategy
Lead the creation of social media campaign concepts for Brand President’s review
Stay current on latest trends and industry news, sharing applicable stories and key takeaways with IMC team for consideration
Seek out new innovations, conferences, vendors, and like-minded brands that will help actualize the goals
Establish a system of folders to house all important decks and collaborative documents
Maintain Social Team budget tracker, tracking team spends on shoots, creators, etc. against budget for the year
Keep Social Team organized and on track for all current and upcoming projects
Maintain agenda of important topics for weekly social meetings
Lead Social Team meetings, providing priorities, objectives, and goals for the week
Seek out project management tools, apps and systems that could help with efficiencies
Support each member of the Social Team’s development through one-on-one meetings, collaboration on individual projects, and goal setting
Collaborate with the Influencer Team by providing ideas and ways to use always-on influencers to support larger business goals on social media
Put together briefs for influencers outlining social media requests, hashtags, and other rules for engagement
Develop quarterly and monthly strategic calendar briefs for Brand President and Creative Team including monthly themes, priority products, timely moments, social media holidays, etc.
Provide strategic guidance and support for monthly social media calendars
Act as liaison for Social Media Copywriter and add supplementary calendar information as needed – UGC, CTAs, Image Story, Hashtags, etc.
Work alongside Content Manager to complete monthly calendars, providing recommended topics and assets, and acting as a sounding board and first reviewer
Explore opportunities to synch the social media calendar with website editorial and PDPs
Take part in annual and quarterly planning meetings alongside Paid Media, PR, Content, and Global & US Marketing to align on tentpole moments and overarching goals for the brand
Work with Paid Media Team to understand upcoming paid campaigns and create organic support plans to ladder up to larger brand objectives
Meet regularly with Content Team to learn when NPD assets are being shot and will be available for social media usage
Assist in the creation of a streamlined approach to NPD launches by tier
Maintain NPD launch trackers and overarching planning calendars to keep all upcoming launch information in one place for IMC team
Act as point person for marketing teams regarding social media requests and strategy for upcoming launches
Provide social media launch strategy within all IMC 360 Go-To Market slides in collaboration with PR Team
Support the creation of a recurring photoshoot process that will amass additional assets while remaining on budget
Assist in pushing forward a 3-month content planning process to connect 360 planning to content execution and ensure timely delivery of assets
Build brief with content requests for the creative team for monthly social media photo shoots based on seasonal moments, NPD and core focuses, and social media trending topics
Regularly compile competitive research on top performing beauty content to consider as swipe for upcoming social media shoots
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in a concentration in marketing, writing, and/social media
Experience working with NPD
Excellent writing skills
Fluent in all Social Media mediums
Beauty or Fashion experience preferred either in-house or with an agency
