Solomon Page Fashion & Beauty Looking for SALES COORDINATOR – Showroom (Hybrid) at New York, New York Full Time

Our client, a successful Accessories company, is seeking a smart Sales Assistant / Coordinator who is ultimately seeking a role in showroom sales.  Will work with several Account Executives and be exposed to high impact / large volume retail accounts.  This role offers a hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days per week work from home (except market weeks), 3-4 days in office.

Responsibilities:

• Create customized line sheets/catalogs for customers

• Enter customer purchase orders into system

• Create order detail sheets to be sent to factories

• Create buy sheets for production team

• Pull samples and help prep for appointments with customers

• Take notes during customer meetings

• Respond to customers inquiries regarding purchase order updates and sample requests

• Interact with sales team, production team, design team, and management team

• Possible travel to local appointments and/or out of town tradeshows

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree

• Substantive internships with a Fashion, Beauty, or Consumer Products company

• Experience with Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel

• Detail oriented 

• Team player

• Excellent communication skills

• Comfortable in social settings and meetings with buyers

• Motivated self-starter
